BUSINESS MARKETING TIPS
* How to create a business marketing plan ?? *
The only thing every small business needs most is sales. One of the most important part of any business plan is marketing.
While the sales process is a bit of a strategic game and you have to deal directly with your customers, marketing is usually strategic and targets a group of customers. Here we will learn the difference between selling and marketing by taking the example of fishing. In sales you have to do things like prepare the throat for the customer, throw it in the water and then strangle the fish. So marketing is about choosing the right time of day, choosing the right pond, choosing the right place for fishing and fishing with the right bait. In order to be successful in business growth, the entrepreneur needs to implement marketing just as effectively. Here are some tips to help you create the best sales and marketing plan.
* Your Marketing Plan *
Decide who your ideal customer is. An entrepreneur needs to be clear about his customers in his business. Only then will the plan become more effective. The cost of advertising will be saved and the best message that appeals to the customers will be created. Determine the following customer characteristics from your client:
* Individual * - Age, Income, Gender, Marital Status, Occupation etc.
* Behavior * - Lifestyle, values, motivation (leadership or followers), activities, social status, ethnicity
Write a brief description of your ideal customer in one or two lines from the above ideal customer characteristics (this description will be included in your USP below.)
Create your marketing message. Once you have determined your ideal customer you will need a compelling message that will appeal to those customers. Draw a text that will encourage people to sell directly and at the same time create a tagline that will make a home in the mind of your ideal customer.
* Unique Selling Proposition (USP) - * A well-written USP will have a short literal form of four to five sentences based on the following four elements.
1. Know the needs of the customer, what he wants and his problems.
2. How your solution will solve the problem of the customer and make him profitable.
3. Let them know how you are different from your competitors.
4. Motivate your customers to purchase goods or services (they can't refuse, present it that way)
The word form included in your USP is a description of your ideal customer in the first issue. The second point is related to profit, you may want to draw a literal picture of the outcome of your product / service. E.g. Characters like "thrilled" or "prosperous life" can be very effective. In a nutshell, USP is like a 30-second video ad, only it does not include client stories and is more general.
* Tagline * - Your tagline is an acronym for your USP. They are usually eye-catching, straightforward, and memorable. You will find the SBCA tagline above in our letterhead. Here are the famous taglines of some big companies:
* Amul: The Taste of India *
* Pepsi: That's the Right Choice Baby *
* Thumbs up: Taste the Thunder *
* Surf: stain is good *
Write your three different types of taglines to choose from. Get feedback from others before you decide which tagline to use for your business.
Once you have decided on your marketing message, use it in every media and in all kinds of marketing materials.
* Marketing budget * - Decide how much you are going to spend per month on marketing. There are also some low cost "guerrilla marketing strategies" available to you. Businesses need to plan so that a portion of their sales can be spent on marketing. There is no magic formula for this, it is better for new businesses to initially spend 10% of their sales on marketing. You can then increase or decrease the amount you spend based on the results you get.
* Lead Generation Strategies - * Your marketing plan should also include how you reach your customers through referrals, websites, direct mail, walk-ins, email, social media. Pay-per-click advertising is also very useful as it allows you to easily get the results you want.
* Lead Tracking and Results - * Decide what information you need about the customer to follow up consistently. Then you have to use some kind of lead tracking system, which will help you to keep track of your findings and results. You want to know how many people you reached through a lead generation system and how many of them you made your true customers by selling your products or services.
You want to know the status of each customer in the sales process. Small businesses use everything from index cards, excel sheets, to direct customer relationship management tools. Know the results of your advertisement, based on which you will be able to make good and right decision.
* Sales and marketing tools - * You also need to decide what kind of marketing tools you are going to use to reach your customers. E.g. Business cards, brochures, postcards and flares.
As you can see there is a lot to do to develop an effective marketing plan. However, if you invest the right amount of time and money in developing your plan and implementing it, your client will be amazed and happy to see the service you are providing.
* Analyze yourself instead of asking others, 'What business do we do?' *
It is often seen that some people post on Facebook, WhatsApp group and ask, 'What business should I do?' They are posting this or that.
This post is followed by a lot of advice and some people even say to take a franchise of their business. Such a post is flooded with answers or propaganda.
Do you want to do business Then this area is very huge. Analyze yourself instead of asking others, 'What business should we do?' How well prepared you are mentally, your current financial situation and how ready you are to manage it, what interests you, what you are going to do to get into the business (service or product), what your USP will be, Explain / convince you how to buy it, according to your own ability (education, finance, skills, information, etc.) and suggest some business, have you got some basic information by conducting survey in your area in that regard.
Which department do you currently consider useful in the business and how will you handle the rest? Do you know who the person or guide / helper will be needed? Also, do you know what you need to know to be competent and skilled in business?
Even if you can start a business just because you have money, you will not be able to sustain it, and in order to sustain a business, you will need to know and learn the above.
